With a thriving clinical practice in the UK, Pamela is passionate about reconnecting women to reduce stress and enhance well-being throughout the seasons of life. As an herbal product developer for global brands like Twinings and a sought-after teacher at the Herbal Academy, she brings invaluable expertise to her teachings. In this class, Pamela will guide us through the role of seasonal herbal support and energetic considerations for menopausal changes, offering tools to navigate this transformative life stage with grace.

Discussion Highlights:

  • Overview of perimenopause and menopause.
  • How the menopausal journey encourages women to reconnect with themselves and how herbalism supports this inward transformation.
  • Seasonal living in the context of menopause and hormonal shifts.
  • The influence of each season’s energy on health and wellbeing.
  • Self-care practices to complement herbal support during menopause.
  • The role of stress in menopausal symptoms and herbs to manage stress across different seasons.
  • Herbs or lifestyle suggestions for supporting restful sleep during menopause.

Pamela's passion for herbs began as a teenager in the fragrant wet markets of Singapore. After a successful career in film and television, she transitioned to study herbal medicine in 2002 and has since built a thriving clinical practice, writing, and teaching about herbs. Pamela frequently contributes to media outlets such as BBC, Women & Home, the Financial Times, and UK Health Radio, and has appeared on TalkTV with Trisha Goddard.

She has taught worldwide, from Russia to East Africa, and helped establish the Betonica School of Herbal Medicine in the UK. Specializing in empowering women through menopause, Pamela also teaches at Dumfries House for the King’s Foundation.

As Twinings Herbal Expert since 2016, she has influenced product development, including the Superblends range. Through her agency, Plant Potential, she supports herbal start-ups and advises companies like Sofi and GutSmart on new product launches.
