Dr. Jacqui, ND is a mixed Indigenous Yakama, Irish, and & Eastern European Naturopathic Doctor, Plant Medicine person, teacher, Land Protector, wisdom keeper and steward of the Earth. Originally from the Mountains of Montana (Apsáalooke territory), Sagebrush and Sandstone. Dr. Jacqui is a Mama & tends to the Xálish Medicine Garden in Snuneymuxw territory, Vancouver Island, where she grows and crafts Plant Medicines through ritual and ceremony for her botanical line Xálish Medicines and Herbalism courses. Honouring her lineages of the Earth and Stars. She is passionate about sharing knowledge & wisdom of Earth based practices, Plant Medicines, Medicine making, Ancestral reverence, postpartum support, decolonizing wellness, and Earth tending (gardening) – to bring connection, deepened relationship and community into our daily lives. Helping us restore our connection to the Earth, well Ancestors, one another and ourselves. When we heal ourselves, we heal the Earth, when we heal the Earth, we heal ourselves.
